About KTeacherTiff

Hello! I'm Tiffany and I've been teaching kindergarten for 10 years! I LOVE teaching kindergarten and I never want to leave it!

I'm originally from Western Pennsylvania. I fell in love with beautiful Virginia when I interviewed for my job, and I feel like this is exactly where I am supposed to be. My little family is made up of my husband, Joe, our 5 year old son, Jackson, and our 1 year old daughter, Avery.
I have a masters in reading and a passion for children's literature, writing workshop, and guided reading. Although reading is my first love, I landed the position of math lead teacher in a school a few years back. I have since developed a love of teaching number sense and problem solving.

I started this blog because reading the blogs of other teachers has made me a better teacher. I've loved the time I've spent peeking into other people's classrooms, and now I want in on the fun! I think I have some good things to share, and hopefully it will be helpful to someone out there.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

  2. I just nominated your blog for the Liebster Award. You can google it=that's what I did, but it is basically an award given bloggers to newer/newish blogs. I love all your ideas and follow you on Instagram, hence the nomination from me. Here is my blogpost with your nomination:

  3. Hi Tiffany,

I happened to chance upon your blog and found it very interesting!

We have recently launched a science app that uses augmented reality to enhance classroom teaching. The app

has 3D models for kindergarten to grade 12. I thought you might want to check it out and may be review it on

    your blog, if possible.

It is a paid app(with a few models free) but in case you are interested in trying it out I will be happy to provide

    you with a free copy.

The link to the app is:

You can also search for the app on the app store as 'Augmenter'.

Do let me know if you would be interested. I am really Looking forward to your response.

    happy teaching!
